AED Cluster Portugal, the Directorate-General for National Defence Resources, and idD Portugal Defence will organise an information session dedicated to the European Defence Agency’s (EDA) CapTechs (Capability Technology Groups), on a date to be confirmed.
This initiative aims to strengthen the bilateral relationship between Portugal and Italy in the defence industries sector by fostering the exchange of information on both countries' procurement programs, integrating entities into value chains, and establishing partnerships and consortia to prepare applications for European funding.

Participants will have access to €100,000 in non-dilutive funding, mentorship, and access to a network of over 180 testing centers through DIANA, as well as venture capital through NIF
The six new OPS, joining the four already in operation, will play a crucial role in replacing the corvettes still in use, contributing to the modernization and strengthening of intervention capacity in national maritime spaces.
