Ricardo Pinheiro Alves, Chairman of idD Portugal Defence, was a speaker on the Defence panel on the final day of the 7th edition of the iTechStyle Summit, held from 26 to 28 May at the Alfândega do Porto.
Under the theme “Threads of Innovation: Shaping a Smarter, Sustainable, and Transparent Textile Industry”, the conference—organised by CITEVE—highlighted innovation, sustainability, and digitalisation as strategic pillars of the sector, while also emphasising its relevance to the defence economy.
idD’s participation reinforced its commitment to the development of advanced textile solutions for defence applications, promoting collaboration between industry, R&D centres, and the Armed Forces.
