Luís Ribeiro, Board Member of idD Portugal Defence, took part in the industry panel at the 6th edition of the IDEIA Conference, organised by the Portuguese Navy on 29 May at the Naval Academy.
The event marked a milestone in naval modernisation with the presentation of the new Multifunctional Naval Platform — NRP D. João II, bringing together representatives from the defence sector, industry, and the national scientific and technological system.
The industry panel focused on the integration of innovative solutions and national technologies in the ship’s capability development process, highlighting the role of the defence economy as a driver of competitiveness.
