On the sidelines of the 7th Portugal – South Korea Joint Economic Commission, a meeting was held, organized by AICEP, with the participation of the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, AICEP, and idD Portugal Defence, represented by Carla Tavares, Daniel Vultos, and Elisabete Pires.
idD Portugal Defence presented the National Defence Technological and Industrial Base (DTIB), emphasizing its strategic potential for the development of international partnerships in the defence sector. This initiative reinforces Portugal’s commitment to positioning the DTIB as a platform for innovation and cooperation, aligned with global security and defence needs.
During this Joint Economic Commission, the Portuguese delegation was headed by João Rui Ferreira, Secretary of State for the Economy, and the South Korean delegation was led by Kim Hee-sang, Vice Minister of Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
