The Industry Day with DAMEN, organized by idD Portugal Defence, AED Cluster Portugal, and aicep Portugal Global, brought together over 70 entities from the scientific and technological, business, and national associative systems, providing a distinctive forum for the exchange of ideas and potential collaborations.
The participation of the Chief of the Portuguese Navy, Admiral Gouveia e Melo, along with the Minister of Economy and the Sea, António Costa Silva, and the Secretary of State for National Defence, Carlos Pires, highlighted the strategic importance of this meeting. During the session, we also had the participation of Annelies Damen, Board Member at DAMEN, Carlos Félix, President of idD Portugal Defence, José Neves, President of AED Cluster Portugal, and Filipe Santos Costa, President of aicep Portugal Global.
Throughout the morning, participants had the opportunity to attend relevant presentations from DAMEN, AED Cluster Portugal, Thales Edisoft Portugal, and EID. They were also able to network during the lunch session.
In the afternoon, B2B meetings took place between 30 entities and representatives of DAMEN. These meetings aimed to facilitate dialogues, promoting future partnerships and synergies.
