Embraer, idD Portugal Defence and ETI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) towards a potential strategic collaboration related to training and simulation, for Defence and dual-use products. Targeted areas include Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality and Data Analytics technology development and innovation.
The MoU includes the opportunity to expand and increase the long-term relationship between Embraer and ETI for the design and development of Embraer’s training products, for the A29 Super Tucano, and other programs. Within this context, the two companies are already discussing potential opportunities.
Embraer and ETI have been cooperating for a long time and each party will bring the specific expertise needed to carry out research and development to be applied in advanced technologies and innovative training products. This MoU is a further important step in this long-term relationship.
