Last April, idD Portugal Defence participated in the 25th Meeting of the Portugal-Tunisia Joint Defense Commission.
With the presence of the Director-General of National Defense Policy, Major General Nuno Lemos Pires, who chaired the meeting, and counterpart representatives from the Tunisian side, the interest in revitalizing bilateral Defense relations was discussed, particularly through strengthening the frequency of dialogue and consolidating politico-strategic discussions.
With some history of cooperation in the defense industries, idD Portugal Defence sought to promote dialogue and cooperation in this sector through potential opportunities for joint acquisition, development, and production, as well as research.
