idD Portugal Defence, in partnership with AED Cluster and Leonardo, organised an “Industry Day” to promote the integration of companies and other national entities in the supply chain of this important multinational of Italian origin in the defence sector.
The event was attended by 70 professionals from 17 companies and entities of the scientific and technological system, as well as from different public entities, having held around 40 meetings with Leonardo teams from the areas of Aircraft, Helicopters, Electronics, Cyber and Space, in the latter case represented by Telespazio, subsidiary of Leonardo and Thales.
This event, which took place on November 23rd, is part of a cycle of Industry Days that idD Portugal Defence is organising in order to bring the entities that make up the national Defence Economy closer to the main global players in the sector, facilitating development of cooperation channels and enhancing opportunities for joint development of solutions and business. In addition to this initiative, an Industry Day had already taken place with Thales (HERE). By the end of the year, another Industry Day will be promoted with Airbus.
