idD Portugal Defence, in partnership with AED Cluster and Airbus, promoted an Industry Day with the objective of presenting the solutions of companies and other national entities to the Defence and Space, Commercial, Helicopters and AirBusiness Academy teams of Airbus, as well as the some of its Tier 1 suppliers such as Mecachrome, Lauak, REXIAA and Stelia.
This initiative, which took place on November 26th, is part of a cycle of Industry Days that idD Portugal Defence organised in 2021 in order to bring national Defence Economy entities closer to the main global players in the sector, facilitating the development of cooperation channels and fostering opportunities for joint development of solutions and business. In addition to this initiative, an Industry Day had already taken place with Thales (HERE) and another with Leonardo (HERE).
Around 70 people from 19 entities participated in this initiative and 32 B2B meetings were held.
