idD Portugal Defence held, on August 4th, greetings session from the idD Board of Directors with the Minister of State, Economy and Digital Transition.
Present at this meeting were the Chairman of idD Portugal Defence, Marco Capitão Ferreira, and the Executive Director of idD Portugal Defence, Catarina Nunes, as well as the Minister, Pedro Siza Vieira, and his assistant, Francisco Pais de Sousa.
During the meeting, topics of common interest were discussed, namely the strengthening of cooperation between the two areas of government, especially regarding innovation, research and development projects in the Defence Economy scope of action, the impact of the defence industry’s collaboration with other sectors of economic activity, within the scope of the new multi-annual financial framework of the European Commission, as well as concrete and ongoing projects in the scope of defence industries that impact on the development and competitiveness of the national economy.
