idD Portugal Defence was received on May 5th by the Army Chief of Staff, General Nunes da Fonseca, with the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of idD, Catarina Nunes, and the Member of the Board of Directors, Paulo Santana.
In this work session and presentation of greetings, the parties addressed topics of common interest, namely cooperation projects in the area of innovation, research and development, the main ongoing and planned investment programs, as well as opportunities that are available to the Army, which simultaneously contribute to strengthening the Defence Economy and strengthening the operational capabilities of the Portuguese Armed Forces.
There was also a mutual willingness to cooperate closely in the execution of an integrated and articulated policy, in the operational support and export of goods, equipment and services produced by the Defence Economy.
