idD Portugal Defence will be present at the Technology Exhibition taking place during the celebrations of the Portuguese Army Day from October 24 to 29 in Viana do Castelo.
The Technology Exhibition, featuring companies from the National Defense Technological and Industrial Base (DTIB), will be held at Viana do Castelo Cultural Center, from October 26th to 28th, starting at 11 AM. The companies will have the opportunity to showcase various technologies and products developed for the Defense sector.
Portuguese Army Day is celebrated annually, with historical reference to the capture of Lisbon on October 24, 1147, by the troops of D. Afonso Henriques, the Patron of the Portuguese Army.
The celebrations for Portuguese Army Day include demonstrations of military vehicles and communication systems, displays of chemical weapons capabilities, canine demonstrations, among others. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with representatives from the Portuguese Army as well as DTIB companies.
